On 15 April 2025, the ASEANAPOL Secretariat warmly welcomed representatives from the LRY Group in a virtual meeting to explore potential avenues for collaboration in support of regional safety, security, and sustainability initiatives.
Representing the LRY Group were Mr. Lavin Raja Yogam (Business Development Director), Puan Suriati Ismail (Managing Director), Mr. Aloysius Shunmugam (Commercial Director), and Ms. Liza Annuar (Project Manager). The ASEANAPOL Secretariat was represented by Police Senior Superintendent Huntal Tambunan, Director for Police Services, and Police Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Director for Plans and Programs, under the guidance of Executive Director David Martinez Vinluan.
Mr. Lavin Raja opened the meeting with a comprehensive introduction to the LRY Group, which was established in 2009 and began operating in the medical and government sectors in 2014. He emphasized LRY’s expertise in providing operational solutions through medical professionals and highlighted their role as authorized distributors of globally recognized medical and emergency equipment brands such as Philips, ResMed, EgoZlin, EpiGuard, and Rescue Trailer. He also underscored LRY Group’s commitment to offering NATO- and WHO-certified products, aligning with international standards for quality and compliance. LRY Group reaffirmed its readiness to provide innovative and effective solutions that promote safety, resilience, and well-being across the region.
On behalf of the ASEANAPOL Executive Director, Police Senior Superintendent Huntal Tambunan introduced the ASEANAPOL Secretariat’s mission and vision, outlining its commitment to regional policing cooperation and highlighting the 14 core transnational crime areas being addressed by ASEANAPOL. He underscored the organization’s proactive stance in building a safer and more secure Southeast Asia.
Police Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Ngoc further elaborated on ASEANAPOL’s ongoing collaboration with Member Countries, Dialogue Partners, Observers, and Like-Minded Entities, emphasizing a shared commitment to fostering greater coordination, information sharing, and strategic engagement to address evolving security challenges.
The meeting concluded on a constructive and forward-looking note, with both parties expressing strong interest in developing meaningful partnerships. The ASEANAPOL Secretariat appreciates the initiative taken by LRY Group and looks forward to exploring collaborative opportunities that align with the organization’s regional objectives and operational priorities.
